Math Expansion equips scholars with visual, kinesthetic, and tactile tools to expand their conceptual knowledge through math games.

The mission of Math Expansion is to change the way scholars interact with math, which will alter their opinion of math, and ultimately will transform the way they see themselves.

The vision of Math Expansion is for teachers to facilitate differentiated, scholar-centered, experiential and discussion-based learning experiences where scholars continually build an enduring conceptual understanding of math.

In short: We just want kids to have fun learning math.  We use techniques that make math easily accessible to all kids. We do this so that teachers don’t have to “blah blah blah” and kids don’t have to sit and hear “whomp whomp whomp” all the time.  Instead of memorizing a whole bunch of steps that don’t make sense to them, kids will play and learn in a way that provides them with a solid grasp of math concepts which will help them now and in their future math studies.
